About Us
Dr.Prasanna Kumar has completed DM in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
from Prestigious Institute NIMHANS, Bengaluru. He is the first and only DM child
and adolescent psychiatrist practicing in Andhra Pradesh. He is one among the few
in India. In the initial days of his career he worked under under legendary and
senior Psychiatrists. Later he worked for considerable number of years as Faculty in
Major Mental hospitals including IMH Eragadda, Hyderabad and Government
Hospital for Mental care, Visakhapatnam (Visakhapatnam Mental hospital), KGH
Visakhapatnam leading to significant expertise in dealing with difficult and
Resistant Psychiatric disorders.
He was also a Speaker at conferences and CME'S including World Psychiatry
conferences (WPA, WASP), National, Zonal and state level conferences. He also had
research interest and had publications in Peer reviewed journals and had authored
chapters in one of the Reputed textbooks of Psychiatry.

reputed Private hospitals including Rainbow Hospitals, Mahaveer Hospitals and
NRI hospital.
